Elearning Modules
UNMC’s Interactive E-Learning Program is led by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs in partnership with the Office of Faculty Development and the campus-wide E-Learning Steering Committee. The program offers faculty and students the opportunity to create innovative e-modules blended with interactive classroom activities that maximize critical thinking. If accepted into the program, participants are awarded funds to help create their projects. Past participants have received university and national recognition for their achievements. Generally, the e-modules are 10 – 15 minute e-learning platforms that have no more than one or two learning concepts. They also incorporate a blend of teaching and assessment tools that may include video clips, direct instruction, gaming elements and social media.
