Glass, a pale translucent green with iridescence, traces of soil inside, depressed pontil marks on base, 3 ½ inches tall with open flare top, spout from near the base, obtained from digs in Germany, probably from Nidda (a 5th century Roman settlement), a suburb of Frankfurt, probably before circa 500 A.D.
