•The building was named for the Lied Foundation Trust and trustee Christina M. Hixson.

•Level One housed the Emergency Department.

•Level Two housed Radiology and Surgical operating rooms.

•Level Three houses a garden terrace.

•Level Four housed the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
