Abstract or Description

This book is a collection of personal stories from patients at the Intestinal Rehabilitation Clinic at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Each of them shares a common thread of living with Short Bowel Syndrome (SBS) — but this book is not about their diagnosis alone. It is about their lives outside of it: the ordinary, extraordinary, and uniquely personal experiences that make them who they are.
